JONESY WOOD

Jonesy Wood was born and raised in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After graduating from high school in 2000, Jonesy decided that there may be something to learn about life that you can’t find in books. So she packed up her SUV and headed to Aspen, Colorado. A few years of living and working in Aspen inspired her to return to her Southern roots and to open a designer ladies clothing store, "Jonesy's Upstairs". After five years in the retail business and marrying the love of her life, Stuart, Jonesy decided to focus on her new family and shuttered her store. In the meantime, she had begun designing jewelry and selling it to her friends, family, and the local Boutique Warehouse Sale she puts on twice a year. Inspired by her experiences in Aspen and travels to Europe, she decided to turn her hobby into a full time operation. With a lot of passion and determination, she has built her woman-owned business from the ground up. Jonesy has a distinct eye for fashion, style and art. Each piece is handcrafted with precious metals and semi-precious gemstones. Her designs are simplistic with a touch of nature that brings out the romantic spirit inside every woman.

WOMY

Arienne Bussey, Biologist and budding herbalist, created WOMY after experiencing multiple health challenges all at once: poor immune response, unbalanced hormones, and depression. Western medicine just did not seem to work for her and she was over the failed attempts and no longer had the desire to ingest something man-made in a lab. It was that moment of realization that Arienne began to study medicinal plants and how WOMY came about. WOMY’s mission is to help people focus on the well being of physical, mental, and spiritual health. She created beautifully packaged tasty tea remedies that can easily be incorporated into your daily routine. Her hope is that people will adopt the tea ritual and begin self healing, starting in the mind.

SipCozy is one of the first non-alcoholic, hemp-infused wines to launch to market. Founded by wellness devotee Alexandria Klempf, the grenache blend rosé is dealcoholized and infused with 40mg of broad spectrum hemp extract per bottle. Its functional ingredients allow consumers to embrace better-for-you practices by combining the relaxation and wellness benefits of cannabis without the psychoactive effects of THC or negative post-consumption effects of alcohol. Hints of floral, herbal and citrus complement any occasion for a refreshing, yet low-calorie traditional wine alternative. Ideal for enjoying on one’s own or shared with a group of girlfriends, SipCozy provides the gateway to a cozy state of mind for a blissful and relaxing experience. The spirited beverage–sans spirits–offers a sense of clarity and comfort in today’s mix of shifting aspirations and modern lifestyles.

When Start Up Heart Up Founder, Kae Gruner, became an intellectual property lawyer, she noticed that friends and acquaintances started sliding into her DM’s to ask questions about their business ideas. She realized quickly that: (1) she had the knowledge they needed to take meaningful steps towards launching a new business, and (2) she absolutely loved empowering them to pursue their business dreams. As a young lawyer, Kae learned quickly that the costs of lawyers and business coaches would be a barrier to entry for many everyday entrepreneurs. Especially those bursting with ideas but feeling stuck in low-paying jobs with no growth. Years later, Kae gave birth to her first baby and while at home, started to map out the fundamental milestones to take a dream business from idea to launch. She organized the information and simplified the process so that everyday entrepreneurs could take the reins to validate their business ideas and build a business from scratch on their own time and at their own pace through fill-in-the-blank business planning workbooks. Start Up Heart Up was born with the mission to bring entrepreneurship to all through DIY tools, education, & empowerment.
