Q: Tell us a little about you, girl!

A: Howdy! I’m originally from Ecuador, an avid runner, traveler, cereal addict, and turning 30 this year! I really enjoy learning - currently learning how to become a better digital marketer. I’m a structured creative. :) I get weird when speaking spanish to people I’ve only spoken english to *shrug*. I ran my first full marathon after my first heartbreak. I started my career in Investment Banking in NYC working for JP Morgan when I was 20 years old, which led me to another role in Miami, and most recently Atlanta.

Q: What inspired you to start Bloom Wellness Consulting?

A: Passion and sweat - seriously. When I was younger I played sports, but in my adulthood is when I realized all the benefits of maintaining a well balanced wellness ritual or practice. My “WHY” is simple - I want to help women feel their best with conversation + connection +  movement.

Q:  What’s the most rewarding—and most challenging—part of your work?

A: Rewarding - Being able to see a change in a client’s daily life. Working towards a goal is great because it allows us to set up a framework on how to obtain the results we want, but seeing the change in behavior is magical.  The change = the “new normal”,  and it’s the best because that becomes a sustainable + repetitive positive decision.

Challenging - Sometimes aligning with a client on how to move forward in their wellness plan can be a challenge. Change for most of us is difficult and working through change or different behavior patterns with a client is challenging because it is not natural to choose differently.  I have to get creative on how to overcome these hurdles, but ultimately it is rewarding.. :)

Q:  What advice do you have for women looking to improve their overall health and wellness?

A: Oh man, so much advice. Start where you are, you’re not too young, too old, too busy, too out of shape - you’re not too anything. I think a lot of women become overwhelmed with where they want to be because of where they are and end up not moving forward. Improving overall health and wellness is about yourself, for yourself, and that is an ever evolving thing, meaning that never ends; that’s why I love the idea of BLOOMing into your best life. Metaphorically, when you start working with me and Bloom Wellness Consulting you’re planting seeds and progressively working to become better (without comparison to others). Our mission is that we work to improve you + your habits, so that they become sustainable and part of the rest of your life. Keeping in mind that overall health and wellness is not just about eating right and exercising, but about the environment you’re in and everything that comes with that (work, stress, family, sleep, thoughts). We’re here for you! :)

Q:  What’s next for you and Bloom Wellness Consulting?

A: It is important that we’re able to provide holistic services to all of our clients, hence we’ve partnered with some nutritionists and registered dieticians to help provide more specific meal plans for clients who have Autoimmune disorders. And in general if a client has specific dietary demands, we now have a resource that can create plans peculiar to those needs. Also, we look forward to partnering with apartment communities and corporations to carry out training sessions. Let’s all get healthy and happy!
