It’s no secret that 2020 has been a strange year. Weddings & events have had to take on a smaller format during this time - whether that will continue for years to come is yet to be determined. If you are one of those brides who is altering plans to cater to a smaller group or you simply love a smaller gathering, here’s the good news: you can now elevate the details you love the most.

Read on for our favorite tips to elevate your intimate wedding:

1. Added Unique Elements

Now is the time to really think through what matters most to you. With a limited guest list comes less immediate stress, so take advantage of that to hone in on what you’ve truly always wanted.

Personalize your details, for this wedding our couple had a home theme. We added elements of a home to every aspect of the wedding, from the ceremony to the reception. With pops of marble, wood, lightbulbs, cement & glass, we were able to accomplish a sense of home.

2. Your Dream Florals

Flowers can really start to add up - especially as you host an event for hundreds of people & want to ensure they really wow. With a smaller guest list comes the opportunity to incorporate florals you once dreamt about. Maybe that’s an installation for the head table or a unique escort display - whatever it is, it’s sure to shine with a more intimate wedding.

If you’re planning your wedding or event, let’s chat about how we can make this happen for you.

3. Special Moments With Special People

A smaller guest list typically means your best & closest family & friends are the bulk of attendees. This makes for such a special & intimate celebration, so make the most of it!

Adding special moments where you can remember who was there to celebrate will always be such a fun memory to have. Consider adding a photo station for your guests to snap a picture & write a sweet note for the newlyweds - like the one pictured here.

4. Invest In Accent Pieces

With a more intimate affair, you’ve probably found yourself saving money in certain areas, so why not pay extra special attention to pieces you otherwise may have ignored.

Maybe you want to incorporate additional candles to your tables with stunning votives, upgraded table numbers, unique flatware, or patterned linens to really pop. We love the idea of pretty menus that coordinate with your invitations.
